The Winter Migration

As the temperature went south, we followed the travellers heading north for sunshine and beer.

Great Northern is Australia’s biggest-selling beer. On social it was the biggest beer nobody was talking to. Every winter the cold southern states empty into Queensland, Great Northern’s home. We made that the campaign: the Great Northern Winter Migration.

It ran as a nature documentary narrated by comedian Broden Kelly, following the herd north: leaving the nest, the budgie smugglers, the first beer at the watering hole.
