2020 was a bad year. With the Pangolin’s Kiss keeping everyone inside, a lot of us had Netflix and not much else. So we let people re-cut it. With face-swap app Reface, 2020 Re/Write put your face on the characters of your choice and built a trailer of how your year went and how you'd rather it ended: on a pile of money with the crew from Money Heist, or at a beach party with the cast of Love Island.
A campaign page walked you through the upload; thousands of possible trailers came out the other end, shareable whole or as GIFs.
